Complete Follow Directions 4. Be sure to read the directions because there have been changes.

After Follow Directions, you will work on the Literacy Journey HyperDoc. The HyperDoc is due at the end of class on Friday. The writing assignment will be due next week on Tuesday. There will be a separate turn-in for the writing.

Return your reading library permission slip.

Tuesday, August 21

This week we are doing school and district assessment tests. Be sure to bring your chromebook fully charged everyday.

Homework: Your Beginning of the Year Checklist is due tomorrow at the beginning of class.

You made it through the first week of school.

Today you are going to have time to finish your Beginning of the Year assignment. Don't forget that your surveys should be completed today. Your whole assignment is due on Wed.

Also, don't forget to turn in your Chromebook user agreement. Due Monday.

Chromebooks:
We finally got our Chromebooks and we are ready to get to work. Remember to always bring your Chromebooks to school fully charged. If you find yourself running low on battery, come in at lunch and plug your Chromebook in. You can charge it during the lunch period.

Daily Agenda:

Today we are working on our Beginning of the Year checklist. You will see several assignments, including surveys and getting to know you activities that you need to complete. You were given mini-deadlines and you will turn in the full assignment on Wed. August 22.

Homework:

Student Information Sheet, Parent Survey, Reading Survey, and Writing Survey are all due tomorrow, Friday, August 17.

Chromebook Agreement is due on Monday, August 20.

Welcome Back!!! Hope your year is off to a great start.  

This week we are getting to know each other, so you shouldn't have much homework. Once we get our Chromebooks on Wed., we will begin our first writing assignment.
