Today we are looking at the paperwork that is needed to immigrate to the US in the 1930s and the paperwork needed to emigrate from Germany. If you do not finish the assignment in class, it is homework tonight.

We are taking more notes today and working on your Thinglink Projects. You will have until tomorrow evening (Wed. before you come to class) to complete your projects. You will get some time in class tomorrow.

Today we began reading articles related to our Socratic Seminar. If you are having trouble annotating, using hypothes.is, go ahead and use this annotation guide instead. At the bottom, where it asked for leveled questions, just write any questions.

Homework:

If you want to get ahead, you can work on one of the articles and the annotations, but you will have most of the class time tomorrow as well.

Welcome back. I can't believe it's already 2nd semester. This week we are working towards are first Socratic Seminar.

Today: 

We discussed the history and meaning of a Socratic Seminar and we we need to do to have an effective dialogue.
